In addition to the Diocesan President the following are Trustees in the Diocese

The Vice Presidents – Mrs Hilary Roffey

The role of the Vice Presidents is to support and deputise for the Diocesan President wherever they can and to help, meet and feedback from as many Mothers’ Union members in the Diocese as possible.

To facilitate this each Vice President is responsible for different Deanery Groups within the Diocese as follows:

South Archdeaconry

Mrs Hilary Roffey

Hilary was enrolled in 1976 shortly after the birth of her 3rd son. She was living in Anglesey in the village of Llandogfan ( where Aled Jones comes from) in fact her first born and Aled were in the same class at school. Her son was allowed to learn to read in English in the afternoons. Life was tough because most of her fellow members spoke Welsh and Hilary spoke English. Travelling with her husband & family often to places without Mothers Union branches meant that she was not able to become fully engaged with Mother's Union until arriving in Pershore in 1991. She was admitted to Pershore branch and has remained there ever since. Hilary enjoys many roles but her home visiting with her church community sustains and uplifts her.
